Today, the issue of strengthening national unity in Kyrgyzstan is one of the most important for state power. This was stated by the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov in circulation on the occasion of the 13th anniversary of the June events.
“This year marks the 13th anniversary of the tragic June events. Even after many years we remember these bloody events when hundreds of our compatriots died, recalling this with deep sorrow and sadness,” the head of state said.
According to him, in the recent history of Kyrgyzstan, the June events of 2010 remained as bloody events, during which cruel crimes were committed and hundreds of people were killed.
“In that difficult situation, our generous people showed their wisdom, prudence, did not fall under the influence of destructive forces, retained their unity, good neighborly relations between the peoples. We are a multinational people who have lived in harmony, kinship and brotherhood and June events for centuries are a reminder of the need to maintain the integrity of the state and interethnic consent, ”the president said.
“This sad test of history once again proved the importance of strengthening relations between citizens of the country, interethnic unity, increasing the political culture of the population. The June tragedy of 2010 should be a big lesson for us so that such a tragedy will never be repeated,” Zhaparov emphasized .
The head of state drew attention to the fact that the authorities should learn from this tragedy, draw the right conclusions and realize that the issue of strengthening the unity of the people should always be in the spotlight. “Today, the issue of strengthening national unity in our country is one of the most important for state power. We are as a single people, a single country should concentrate in the future, strengthening our unity and interethnic friendship,” he said.
