President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov met with representatives of the Barcelona football club, led by Joan Lapate, who arrived in Kyrgyzstan for the opening of the Barcelona football academy in Jalal-Abad.
According to the press service of the Kyrgyz leader, Zhaparov noted that the players of the Barcelona club conquered many peaks with their skill.
Zhaparov noted with satisfaction that by his visit to the country of the legend of the Barcelona club will give fans from Kyrgyzstan many bright emotions.
The Kyrgyz leader also met with the President of Barcelona Joan Laporta.
Zhaparov highlighted the contribution of Joan Lapers to the progressive development of the club during his leadership by the team, when the colors of the Catalans were protected by such eminent players as Ronaldinho, Messi, Puyol, Havi, Iniesta, Neymar.
According to him, the opening of the First Academy of Barcelona in the Kyrgyz Republic will create opportunities for promoting the composition of the national team in a professional plan, and will also have a positive animated effect on the development of tourism, sports, investment and other sectors of the republic.
Laporta, in turn, expressed confidence that the new Barcelona football Academy in Kyrgyzstan will contribute to the personal growth of athletes, will help to reveal their potential as much as possible, and will also change the attitude of fans to sports for the better.
On August 29, the opening of the Barcelona football academy will be held in Jalal-Abad. On August 30, the Barca Legends team will play a match against the Asian Legend team at the Dolon Omurzakov Stadium.
The game will be attended by former players, including Juliano Belletti, Lodovik Julie, Ronald de Boer, Serzhi Barkhuang, Giovani da Silva, Juan Carlos Rodriguez and Juan Antonio Goykoechea.
