For a telecommunications company, investing in the development of the latest technology is a key issue. Regardless of how much time and money the company invests in technology, it is people who are the key to success – the accumulator of development. This is true for holdings, small businesses, government organizations, and multinational corporations with offices in different countries. People, in turn, want job satisfaction and pride in the results of their work. It is important for a person to feel successful, to know that their hard work is recognized and appreciated. To be effective and competitive, to keep pace with the constantly occurring changes, the company must consistently develop its employees, improve their skills, train, form new skills, provide them with the opportunity to succeed and be successful.
The country’s leading mobile operator Azercell Telecom LLC, committed to its promise of speedy digitalization of society, has long been in the focus of attention of international institutions and organizations in the field of telecommunications, the quality of services provided, the development of society and human resources. This time the company was awarded the Platinum certificate by the world famous organization Investors in People (IIP), which is considered the highest level of the “Invest in People” standard. This standard is issued based on the results of assessing 9 key performance indicators, including the level of corporate governance and sustainable development of the company’s culture, as well as human resource management practices. The IIP standard measures and encourages the further development of principles such as improving the efficiency of the company, providing employees with modern development opportunities, their participation in the decision-making process and effective management focused on human development.
Azercell is the first and only company both in our country and in the CIS to receive the IIP Platinum certificate, which is a high indicator of corporate governance and success in this area. It should be noted that the Platinum certificate is the highest level of assessment of the accreditation center, and only 2% of all IIP accredited organizations have this status.
