Azerbaijani experts cleansed the 3 hectares of the Samur-Yalalamin National Park from pests, Haqqin.az reported on Wednesday in the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan.
Following the monitoring of the group of biodiversity security officers, the MPR and the food security agency revealed the distribution of unpaired silkworms (Lymantria Dispar) in the zone, the pest is striking oak and grab, said the head of the Firudin Aliyev service.
After that, experts cleaned trees from pests in an area of 3 hectares, currently the work in this direction continues.
