Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili held telephone consultations with a number of European leaders. This is stated in the press service of the head of state.
Zurabishvili discussed the situation in Georgia with the Supreme Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaai Callas, Polish President Andrzey Duda, Czech Republic President Peter Paveel, Prime Minister of Sweden Ulf Kristerson, President of Latvia Edgars Rinkevichus.
According to the report, the President of Georgia introduced the interlocutors with its proposal addressed to the leader of the ruling party “Georgian Dream” Bidzine Ivanishvili, who, in her opinion, is the only way out of the crisis.
“The proposal implies a meeting for the coordination of two main issues: the dates of new elections and determine the new election conditions based on the OSCE OSCE report,” the press service said.
